We provide everything you need to convert your institutional food service to be 100% compost friendly: 33 gallon tote bins, 5 gallon pails of Compost µ-Starter, a custom pick-up schedule, compostable food service trays, and compostable gloves. We'll also provide training and orientation for your faculty and staff as well as on-site coaching (as needed) to help ensure your program is successful.
 
Additional supplies can be purchased ad-hoc from the Marketplace—like compostable bowls, Kraft paper trays, plant-based cutlery, compostable cups, compostable straws, and others. Extra or unused milk (and other drinks) are not composted.
 
In Massachusetts, where most schools in the Boston area compost their  food waste, the cost savings of the compostery service is substantial enough to eliminate the need for dishwashing of plastic trays.
 
Pricing is simple and straight-forward. Service is $0.20 per diner, per meal, per day. Service at multiple locations/sites does not change (or upcharge) the pricing structure.
 
For example, for a daycare that serves 80 meals, 2x per day (breakfast and lunch), 200 days per year the annual cost would be $6,400. The quantity entered for checkout would be 32,000 ((80*2)*200). 
 
Please note we cannot accept rubbish from hospitals or medical facilities where communicable diseases may be present.
